As the adverse effects of climate change have become more evident and ubiquitous, the need to transition to renewable sources has become increasingly evident. Significant investment is being made in the sector in Ireland, the UK and worldwide.

Nicholas O’Dwyer has been involved in the renewable/sustainable energy sector for over 20 years, since the emergence of offshore and onshore wind energy generation in the late 1990s. We now actively support developments and technologies as diverse as onshore and offshore wind generation, hydro generation, energy storage/ fuelling (battery, cryobattery and hydrogen), electric vehicle charging facilities, geothermal, ground and water source heat generation and district heat networks.

Nicholas O’Dwyer has a whole-life appreciation of renewable energy assets from finding sites on behalf of clients and securing and/or negotiating land options through to securing consents, optimising design (including co-locating technologies), supporting construction and operational environmental maintenance. Our mapping and GIS capability means we can also provide a web-based interactive GIS viewer, so up-to-date data are used by the project team.

Being part of the RSK Group, we have access to a pool of experts with vast experience of working as direct employees of renewable energy developers.
