Nicholas O’Dwyer recognises the importance of career development

We support and encourage career development in all employees, from recently graduated professionals to experts. Our experienced team of leaders provide mentoring and support on a one-to-one level, and our training resource, LearningPool, provides specific online resources across a range of development topics. We provide focused career-driven continuous professional development (CPD) through our accredited CPD scheme. We encourage, and pay for, membership of professional bodies.

Our career-development framework provides a clear path from graduate to principal consultant and senior management positions and sets out the competencies and experience necessary for effective career progression, which are fully supported by Nicholas O’Dwyer and its leadership team.

Bláthnaid Carolan

Head of People and Culture

Bláthnaid is an established award-winning HR professional with over 20 years’ business experience, of which more than 15 years has been in senior HR management roles spanning across domestic and international organisations in industries including engineering, environment and sustainability, technology and manufacturing. She has extensive experience across the broad HR platform, including strategic and operational HR. Bláthnaid is qualified with a BA (honours) in industrial relations and human resource management, a diploma in strategic human resource management and a certificate in employment law. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
