We are excited to announce that Roger Emslie has joined Nicholas O’Dwyer as our new Head of Energy.
Roger brings a wealth of experience in energy and natural resources, with a career spanning four continents and industries such as energy, minerals and manufacturing. His strategic focus on energy and the energy transition will be pivotal in driving our sustainable energy initiatives and supporting our growth in the energy sector.
Roger joins us from ESB, where he recently led a review of the company’s long-term generation strategy. Prior to ESB, he worked at Wood Mackenzie, providing consulting services to metals & mining industry customers adapting to the energy transition. Previous roles include a range of engineering and project management positions in both industry and consulting.
Roger will work closely with our existing teams of talented professionals who have led our recent growth in the energy sector, including Dr Cróna Sheehan, Ciarán Duignan, Gavin Reilly and Tony Holohan and he will also work closely with our RSK colleagues to further the RSK group ambitions in Ireland and across the globe.
Outside of work, Roger is a keen sportsman and traveller, always looking for new adventures.
Roger holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management, and is currently pursuing an MSc in Renewable Energy Generation.
