This project in Mozambique involved the upgrading of approximately 110 km of international trunk road to bituminous standard, including weigh-bridge, and the upgrading/spot improvement of approximately 160 km of rural roads.

We supervised the contractors under two lots throughout all stages of construction. We ensured that work followed the technical specifications and drawings and that quality and financial controls were put in place to ensure that the construction of the project was kept within the project budget, quality requirements and time frames agreed upon by all parties.

Approximately 1.4 million Mozambicans, living in the bordering districts of the corridor are benefitting from better rural and highway transport allowing for improved access to schools, healthcare facilities, markets etc.
